Choose Your Sponsor Carefully!

Published by Lisa Kitter at 7:35 pm under Personal Responsibility

There are many people out there who will be willing to sponsor you (enroll you) in the company of your choice. Remember, this is your business. So be selective as to who you enroll with.

• Is that person someone you’ve interviewed and do they appear to have experience in this industry?

• Is that person someone you would feel comfortable inviting to your home for dinner? In other words, someone you’d like to share special times with.

• Is that person someone you believe to hold high integrity and perceive to be a leader?

• Is that person someone you feel connected to? In other words, you like them and the way they represent themselves.

• Is that person someone who shares goals that are similar to yours…they are like-minded

• Is that person someone you’d really enjoy working side by side for as long as it takes you to build your business?

Note: When you enroll with someone in your company, you are going to be committed to being sponsored by them. You can’t just cancel your sponsorship with them without dire consequences, which means loss of money, time, and the wonderful team members you brought into your business.

That’s right, all of that will be lost, while you wait, sometimes for 6 months, before someone in that company can re-sponsor you. So, choose your sponsor carefully!

Ask yourself what qualities in a sponsor would be important to you? Then choose based on that criteria.
