Keep It Real

Have you ever been accused of faking it or worse yet, putting on an act? When I was new to the network marketing industry I used to hear the phrase “fake it until you make it” and I used to think, “Ah, right, sure thing. I’ll fake it, whatever ‘it’ is and nobody is going to believe me.”

Back in the early 1990’s, I was with a company that really promoted the image of success. However, most of us were starving to death and wearing our one good outfit designed to impress our potential business partners. We were supposed to spend all our money on products, trainings and sales aids, but in truth, we were flat broke and nobody was really fooled for very long.
