Personal Responsibility

Personal responsibility is a key element in our ability to communicate from a place of authenticity. Many times we seek to place blame on another or to find fault with someone else. It’s more important to step into the enlightened role and to accept responsibility for our own lives. No one or thing can make us happy. We have the complete power to be happy or not to be happy, no matter the circumstances.

How many times have you blamed others for your unhappiness? I know I certainly have done that very thing and then I have had to sit back and ask myself, “How can I become happy with or without the other person involved in my life?” The solution came from within me and not from some outside source. I made the decision to take responsibility for my own happiness instead of giving away my personal power to someone else.

When we are authentic and truly responsible for our own well being…wonderful things begin to unfold for us!
