Prospecting Keys
- Do not practice on your friends and family. Approach them just as you would any other prospect! That means, use the system.
- Remember that this is a learned skill. You can and will become an expert at this process. The better you become at prospecting, the faster and more you will earn. If you are not comfortable, it will not be long until you are. Keep going. Keep growing. Keep improving your skills. ENTHUSIASM AND CONVICTION will cover a multitude of errors!
- PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! Read your scripts 10 - 15 times out loud to become familiar with them. Do not make up your own stuff because you will only frustrate yourself and come across as unprofessional and unprepared.
You are a professional! So, treat yourself and others like one. You are bringing something of value to society. When you prospect, whether talking to friends and family or individuals looking for a better way, enter into all conversations, knowing you are the leader they’re looking for.
